Luminary at One Light Residents, if you haven’t heard of Movember until now, don’t fret! The Movember movement started from humble beginnings, but has recently been taking the world by storm. 

More than five million men have grown mustaches during the month of November in support of men’s health. Fundraising and growing awareness for men’s health is simple: grow a mustache, make a donation, go for walks or runs, host a virtual game night, or create a challenge. 

As the leading charity for men’s mental health and suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer, the movement is fired up to make some change. Globally, 10.8 million men are facing prostate cancer. Additionally, every single minute of every day, a man dies by suicide. Take part in these activities and opportunities right here in Baltimore to end these statistics. 

Movember Baltimore Challenge 

Find your fellow Mo Bros and Mo Sisters in Baltimore here! Join the movement, get connected, raise funds, and raise awareness. Almost $9,000 has been raised and 65 miles covered by the Baltimore community alone!

Right here at Luminary at One Light you can participate! We will have a collection box for Movember Foundation donations throughout the month of November. In addition, we’ll be offering cocktail kits to residents—stop by the front desk on Thursday, November 11 starting at 5pm to receive one!
