Whether you’re vegan or not, you’ll love Double Zero. This pizzeria is one of the newest additions to celebrity master chef Matthew Kenney’s collection of restaurants. Looking at their delicious pies, you wouldn’t think they’re much different from your average wood-fired pie. The difference? They’re all plant-based. The new Baltimore location is the fourth Double Zero in the nation, and it’s earned rave reviews from all who have tried the creations elsewhere. Pretty exciting we’ll have one right in our backyard as well!
Favorite pies are the truffle pizza made with a cashew cream sauce, wild mushrooms, Tuscan kale, and a lemon vinaigrette; the eggplant parmesan pie topped with marinara, cashew mozzarella, rice mozzarella, and macadamia ricotta; the Bianca Pizza which features macadamia ricotta, cashew mozzarella, rapini, and plant yolk; and the spicy (plant-based) pepperoni pizza with Calabrian chili and agave. Which will you try first?
