Teacher Appreciation Day

May 2nd marks a day of recognizing teachers for their hard work and huge impact they make on students’ lives throughout the year. Certain companies, like Madewell in Harbor East, are offering exclusive deals for teachers to give thanks for all that teachers do. Enjoy 15% off everything once you verify your status as a teacher, and treat yourself to some new clothes to celebrate the end of the school year. 

Brick N Fire Food Truck

Nothing is quite as enjoyable as a pizza food truck right at your own front door! On May 3rd, Brick N Fire Food Truck will be visiting the Luminary at One Light community from 4pm-8pm to serve some of their tasty eats. Your taste buds will want to try each and every slice of delicious pizza!

Cinco de Mayo

The fifth of May, better known as Cinco de Mayo, is a great cause for celebration in Baltimore. Check out the Fiesta De Mayo: Cinco de Mayo Party, with live music, a speciality taco menu, margarita, themed swag, and more for you to enjoy! Purchase a drink package now to get access to all drinks to keep you going all night long. 

Another great event happening for this holiday is Cinco de Mayo on Point at The Point in Fells, which will have great food and drink specials and will be hosting a live Mariachi band!

Open House

Have friends interested in living at Luminary? On May 13th from 10-4, they can visit Luminary at One Light at any time to take a look at our spacious and luxurious apartment homes offered. Light refreshments will be served as you take in the views and atmosphere.

Mother’s Day

Get ready to celebrate your mom this year with a bunch of fun events in Baltimore on May 14th. Enjoy a nice meal at the Mother’s Day Jazz Brunch Experience on the Water, where you will spend the afternoon on a spacious yacht, gourmet food, live music, and drinks. 

Or,, check out the Mother’s Day Brunch at the Four Seasons Hotel where you will have access to an indulgent brunch buffet while enjoying panoramic views of the harbor. Pair the wide range of high-end eats with signature cocktails and bottomless mimosas.

World Bee Day

Savor a community breakfast for Luminary at One Light residents on May 20th, where you can participate in a waffle making event that will let you create your own tasty breakfast that you can eat!  

National Wine Day

Enter a raffle for a giveaway basket on May 25th for the chance to win a basket with wine and other goodies. There is no better way to celebrate National Wine Day than with a free bottle of wine! 

Pool Opening

Mark your calendars for May 27th, where Luminary will open its pool for residents. You can spend the day enjoying the cool water and nice summer heat for a fun and relaxing time. 

National Hamburger Day

Bring your neighbors at Luminary to this celebration on May 28th, where you can enjoy hamburgers and yard games during the evening. What could be better than a good meal and some fun games that will help you bond with other Luminary residents and have a great time? 

Memorial Day

May 29th marks Memorial Day, a holiday for honoring and mourning fallen soldiers. You can pay your respects at the War Memorial and Veterans Cemeteries, and show your appreciation for these brave soldiers.
